i know the itching can be bad. i took the end of a back scratcher and tried to get it as far down as it could go and scratched. i ended up with black and blue marks-not much, but it was worth it. congats and i hope the itching will stop!

Hi guys.We are all doing ok..getting into normal routine again.Bathtimes is fun.She keeps her feet up on a kiddies chair and just lays in the tub.has not had time to get bored yet as at this stage has many visitor...the itching seems bad for My DD....it would drive me crazy too!! I have explained to her to stay away from inside of feet if she scratches as her pins are not through the big toe but on the side.At leasy most of the itching is between the toes so she can sctatch away..uses a thin paintbrush. She will be going back to school tm..only for a few hours. Will keep u posted see!!Hope you are all well!XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

some of the itching ay be fro the surgical scrub left on her skin so clean it off once she is uncasted (like for a cast change).

For general cast itches I used the handle of a wooden spoon and it was a Godsend! Glad to hear all is well!
