I have a friend that has been sick for 3 years now and no doctor could figure out what is wrong. Probably none of you know but figured I would ask. She has had blackouts. She feels really dizzy then next thing she know she is on the ground surrounded by people trying to wake her up. She has had cat scans MRIs and noone can figure it out. She also has very limited insurance and is at home with her 2 kids and has no family or spouse to help her out. She is scared but has no answers....any idea where I could look to help her out???

Neurologist! Does she get migraines, was she sick before she had this....can u give us more info on her condition and we'll try to lead her into the right direction. So, you finally coming our of this decomp, good for you...you will feel so much better after this!

Has she been seen by a cardiologist?

She has seen a neuro and all docs say migraines but they have not even bothered to look at her. She doesn't think it is migraines. Will ask her about the blood sugar though. She had meningitis for a while and also went through a period where she couldnt get out of bed and was sleeping 12 to 15 hours a day. She went to ER last week and they think she has weak lungs and her smoking was causing blackouts but she tried to explain she had them before she started smoking. So now she has quit but noone can pinpoint her problem. Will ask her for more details. We know it is not epilepsey though they checked for that too.

It can be migraines...she should go back and have them do a trail and error drug period with her. Has she seen a chiropractor???
