Hi I read that your lymph nodes came back the same as mine, reactive sinus H... thinggy (can't spell it).
Have you been told what causes it, as I think it's quite rare, and no one is telling me anything.
I have not met anyone else with this yet so maybe it will help us both get somje answers as I feel i am being fobbed off.
Thanks

If pathologists made right diagnose and if they have really seen the "sinus histiocytosis" it's good sign for you and me. As many of this kind disease they do not know reasons for that. They just guess that there is some virus etiology.
Sinus histiocytoses also called "Rosai Dorfman disease". Most important thing with this disease that is benign or self-limited disease even it looks very similar to lymphoma. In most cases these disease resolved spontaneously without any treatment.
But the disease in very rear and there is evidenced just few thousand cases on whole world so far.
Check out on web, there is many links with texts about this disease.

So Lion, your saying it looks very similar to lymphoma, do you think it could be a possibility that they made a mistake:confused:
Have you got lots of other lymph nodes up as well?
Would this explain the night sweats and the itching, lack of appetite?
I have tried looking it up, it's just confusing all the medical terms etc.
My consultant has had enough of me, and vise versa.
What are your symptoms like?
Wow we can be rare together!! (lol)
Thanks for replying, take care.
