Are there any medical anthropologist on the board? I'm wondering if there is any medical anthropologist who's not in academic and work in public health?

Sponsor s3xb0mb 08-15-2007, 05:51 PM Poney, I know of a medical anthropologist (well, here termed forensic anthropologist) who works on our province's medical justice team. They will be called out, as needed, to assist on crime scenes or discovered remains. I know that if you were in a larger state, you can be employed as a full-time forensic anthropologist, usually in a medical examiner's office. However, many of the FA's I have encountered, they are professors at the local universities, as their specialty deals mostly with heavily decomposed remains, and these instances may not come up as a frequent basis. |
