Hi,
Okay so first off, I eat a lot of fiber. Still I don't go to the bathroom as much as I should. I can go anywhere from 3-9 days before I have a bowel movement. I've asked my doctor before but he just tells me to eat more fiber. I was taking fiber pills before, but it didn't seem to do anything. I'm not sure if there is a certain food I should try to eat to help keep my colon clean and open every day. lol. Sort of confused and not sure what else to try. Anyone have any ideas?

If you eat fiber you have got to drink lots of liquids, preferably water because otherwise the fiber just causes constipation. So drink a glass of water every hour or so and I'm sure you'll see a big difference.

This subject keeps coming up so I wrote a post about Normal BMs and it is in the Information Archive at the top of this page -- it's the last Post in the thread.
I think it is worth reading!

I had suffered with constipation and hemorrhoids for several years before I found DrNatura's "colonix" it really helped me. I too would have irregular bowel movements that would be 3-4 days until anything happened and then it would be painful. I started experiencing daily bowel movements with ease. This worked for me.
