Can you tell me briefly how your ozone lung damage happened? I also had High level ozone exposure with chemicals used for smoke odor in my home. Burned my lungs. That was 4 months ago and they still hurt. I'm much more sensitive now to everything. Please tell me all you know. Plus the chemicals are still in my home and it reeks. The Ozone also ruined lots of clothing and some down comforters and other blankets etc. The still reek after airing for 4 months and also have been washed more than once. The Ozone smell doesn't come out. Seems worse for synthetic fibers.
I am told the ozone will air out WELL it didn't. It permanently ruined our clothing and bedding.I was told the ozone would take the chemicals out. Well it didn't and they are very strong and make me sick. I need other stories of this happening and what happened and what you did. What helped and how it turned out.

I am experiencing the same thing now. However, I have been successful in washing and dry cleaning my clothes to remove the smell. My MD is checking now to see if I might have permanent lung damage. I haven't lived in my house for 3 1/2 months because of this due to the irritation it causes my lungs. If anyone knows how to get rid of the ozone residue and smell I would be greatly appreciative to hear.
