Hi, I am no expert or anything, But try cutting out the splenda in your diet, There are resent studies stating that splenda is really bad and actually shuts your motabalism down so you wont loose weight. Just a suggestion. maybe try not using it for a while and see what happens. GOOD LUCK!

I'm no expert or anything either, but I'd take a guess and say the studies you are referring to were probably conducted by the sugar industry. Although I don't have much weight to lose - 5 or 10 lbs - I did lose 60 lbs in the few years after my son was born and have maintained it. But if I were trying really hard to lose weight, I'd say the biggest hinderance would be the 1/2 pint of Ben and Jerry's or the chocolate.

I've never had a problem with Splenda. But I know that just like every other artificial sweetener, some people are sensitive to it. I'm not, so I'll continue to enjoy it in moderation just like everything else in my diet.

I think really the key is to have an intake of sugar in moderation or knock it all out of your diet/change. I personally don't like anything artificial anymore, so if I want to eat sugar, I will eat the real thing....just in moderation.
