Hello ladies,
I am sorry I don’t have time to be on this board as much as I would want to……I really admire all of you and find it comforting whenever I read a similar story.... At least I know I’m not alone and you all give me so much hope!
My question this time is: is it possible that I’ve ovulated even if there was a very little amount of CM? Sometimes I would get a pretty fair amount of egg raw white mucus, sometimes none or very little…I also bought an ovulation kit which showed me negative for all days I’ve tried….I guess I’m holding a on a straw here…..

Are you taking your BBT each day? If not, get a basal thermometer and start taking your temp every morning as soon as you wake, but before you get up to shower, etc. Record your temp. If it stays low and never peaks, you are probably not ovulating. If it does, and stays up for a few days, you probably are. Have you been to a doctor yet?

No, I haven’t been to a doctor yet…I was thinking that we might as well try a few months with no help, except the ovulation kit, and then if it doesn’t work to go and see a doctor….Also did not use the BBT yet…
I still hope I am pregnant:rolleyes: ….today it should be my 6 dpo if I have a 28 days cycle (as I usually have) .

I agree with bioadopt mum.
Also remember that opks do not work with each and every one of us. Also you need to test at least twice. I for example normally get a negative say at 1pm than a positve 7 hrs later and a negative again next morning. So a positive may only hold up for a few hrs.

When you get a neg. at 1pm an a positive 6 hours later, does that mean you are ovulating? If you get a neg. the next morning, does that mean that you still are or not.

Just keep using the kits. I thought I was suppose to ovulate two weekends ago so I started testing on the Thur. I got clear neg (only one line) Thur - Sun and then on Monday I got a faint 2nd line and M-S were faint lines and I was going to stop testing thinking I wasn't ovulating. I had just bought a 3rd kit so I thought what the heck I will keep testing until these five are gone so faint line yesterday and today FINALLY two solid lines so I'm ovulating. Of course DH played in golf ternament this weekend and is sleeping on the couch hung over:mad: Oh well we BD on Saturday morning and it does live I think 72hrs and hopefully he's up to it sometime tonight and if not we can try tomorrow morning but I would feel better if we did it today.

Just wanted to chime in here.
Cervical mucus is produced every month , what you drink makes the mucus thick or thin. Drink water only and see what that does. But you should drink ONLY water. No soda, seltzer,coffee..None of that. It take a few days to see the difference in the way you think. Your brain on water is a great tool, I never knew how focused I could be when I was actually hydrated. I didnt realize i was so dehyrdrated until after I started drinking water. You are suppose to drink about 8 glasses aday. I would drink about 8-10 glasses. So what I do is take a One Liter bottle and fill it with water and make sure that I drink that throughout hte day. I chase kids all day so i can drink about two of those. It sure helped with the thinning the mucus out! you can also try low doses of cough syrup

Oh dear I am so sorry for not saying that to begin with. The cough syrup helps thin out the mucus membranes in your body. Cough syrup ONLY has ONLY Guiefenisin in it which is an expectorant that helps loosen up phlem in your chest and the way it does that is by thinning out your mucus membranes. ALL OF THEM! LOL So taking it once a day helps thin it out.
It should in the ingredient list :
Guiefenisin
NOthing more, if you get one that says that and also has a decongestant dont use it. Because the decongestant counteracts the guiefenisin.
I sure hope this helps. I loved taking it. I could breathe and I cervical mucus was like liquefied jello. LOL
Also a tip from my Reproductive Endocronologist(RE). When you have intercourse elevate your hips with a big towel or small pillow just a little bit(not to high up) for about 15 minutes ONLY. after 15 it doesnt matter everything that needs to swim will be up there already. I did the syrup about 5 days before Ouvlation would come. But again I also had help with my RE, just tyring to give you some tips.

CT has the same stores as NJ so you can to go shoprite,stop & shop,walmart of bj's. wallmart and bj's will be a bigger buy at a lower cost.

Robitussin
Shoprite has a generic brand of Robitussin called Tussin
You should ask the person behind the desk at the pharmacy for cough surup and then look in the back to see that is says---- Ingredient (Guiefenisin) ONLY.
I took it twice a day for the 5 days BEFORE my ovulation. So start 5 days before you expect to ovulate.
