Hi,i am a 19 year old male without any history of any diseases like diabetes or heart problems. On the 11th of May i fell down and cut my left foot near the toe that required 6 stitches and also sprained my foot badly. On the 25th,i had my stitches taken out at the hospital but the doctor said my wound was not healing and he told me to do daily dressing.I told him i had a corn but he just told me to take painkillers.
So i went to my family doctor,he said it was a corn and he told me to wait for a week as it should go away by itself.Problem is that the corn is very painful. When i touch it,there is a tingling pain, the kind where our foot gets numb and we feel that there a thousand needles in it.So i went back to him 2 days back and he poked a small hole and allowed some blood to flow out.And he cut away the hard skin that there was.At that time when he touched it,the pain seemed little and gone. However, once i reached home, the pain was back again and it is till now.The corn is on the underside of the big toe.Can someone please tell me what it could be? I am worried sick.By the way,my wound is in good condition according to my doctor.
