Wife and I have been together and monogamous for 10 years, and are free of communicable diseases of any sort (recently confirmed by labs). She does take immunosuppressants for a condition she has. Realistically what risks are either of us exposed to if I perform unprotected rim on her immediately after thorough shower (and is it any different if I keep on the surface rather than penetrating)? In other words, I know the standard oral/anal risks typically stated, but wonder if anyone scientifically "in the know" can help me decide whether lack of protection is significantly unsafe in our situation. Thanks.

If either of you had intercourse or participated in genital touching with other partners in the past before your relationship, she could get HPV I believe. The CDC could give you the stats probably. HPV can remain domant for years & then pop up. Fam

If your wife doesn't have any STDs, I'm not sure why are you asking about if you can catch anything from her. The person has to have an STD in order to pass on an STD. I would put the chance of getting an STD from her at about zero.
