k_c_lady 06-12-2007, 12:02 PM Hello, I had a really stressful day yesterday & I am wondering how you deal with stressful days? Kc orion 06-12-2007, 01:20 PM Go for a vigorous long walk while mumbling and working out the frustration and anger you feel. :blob_fire I thought of so many great come backs and shots on my walks. Boy did I get those turkeys good! chrisS81 06-13-2007, 05:46 AM Marijuana. j/k.. My stress relief was exercising, ..not able to do that right now.. second was cigarettes occasionally.. can't do that anymore either.. My stress relief is knowing one day none of this is going to matter, so it's not really a big deal, right? cloud2 06-13-2007, 08:20 AM Moderately stressful - just push through it. Stressful - increase the cortisol. I liken it to having a manual transmission instead of an automatic. When the adrenals are working, people don't have to do anything... the body "shifts" automatically to what it needs. Without working adrenals, we first have to recognize that we need extra cortisol (due to stress, injury, colds), determine how much, and "upshift" manually. BUT that must be limited to occasional, not on any regular basis! k_c_lady 06-15-2007, 04:59 PM The reason I was asking, I am pregnant and we had to do some serious testing on my twins on Monday. We didn't get the test results back until Wednesday afternoon & those 48 hours were very stressful & emotional. Thank & I enjoyed the sarcasm. Kiesha kmatthew 06-16-2007, 12:33 AM I hope everything is ok with you and the babies. I wondered how you were doing. Try to hang in there with the stress. I have had to learn, LET IT GO..... KM k_c_lady 06-18-2007, 06:53 PM It looks like I might have to terminate my twins. How do I deal with the grief of lossing my twin boys with an illness that has a hard time dealing with any stress, let alone this kind of loss? kmatthew 06-18-2007, 11:26 PM I will keep you and your family in my deepest prayers. Try very hard to stay calm, and the right decision will come to you, and if it is beyond your control remember that God has a plan for each of us, and even though you may not understand it, you grow from it. You are in my thoughts. KM:angel: kmatthew 06-20-2007, 12:13 AM How are you today? k_c_lady 06-21-2007, 05:04 PM We are just trying to get as much information as we can right now. I had amino & a mri done & just got the results back today. Everything looks normal. However, both twins have mild ventriculomegaly. Which mean too much fluid on the brain. we are meeting with a neurosurgeon on Monday to get his opinion of the severity of all of this. The waiting game continues!! I talked to my endo & she said I just need to up my dose to 40 mg a day to deal with all of this. Kiesha kmatthew 06-21-2007, 11:11 PM Please let us know how you turn out on Monday. IN the mean time, stay calm. It sounds like you had some good news today, and hopefully that is a sign of what is to come. Keep the faith. I hope you feel better soon. KM:wave: |
