 Morning everyone~~
SO...My Dr's DID not get back to me about my pathology report:( I am very frustrated and to top it off, my mother and aunt said, from reading it...it's not even done yet!!! I wanted to see if anyone else remembers seeing this on their report and if it means they are still waiting on some more pathology tests???
Left cervical Lymph node..sent fresh....A touch prep is made. No frozen section. Entirely submitted forroutine histologic processing, one cassette. GROSS DIAGNOSIS: "Touch Prep": LYMPHOID ELEMENTS, DEFER FOR PERMANENTS ( This is what we believe is waiting on??). Sent for Flow Ctyometry". Per Dr. blah blah
Also states Copiesofflow cytometry analysis and lymphoma immunohistochemical analysis are attached to this report. NOTHING is attached to this report!!
Any ideas?? Anyone?? My mother thinks that they sent some tissue samples out somewhere else (defer for permanents)
I am calling my surgeons' office..again this morning and demanding to speak to his nurse!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much everyone..I am pulling my hair out over this and the fact not one Dr returned my calls!!!

Hi Susie,
I am so sorry you are also having to deal with doctors in this way. It is frustrating! What I do know is, it is very common for a biopsy to be sent to different labs. This is how they can make sure that the results are accurate.
I would also be upset with the results that you received. Please do call and DEMAND answers. After all, YOU are paying for thier services. Please let us know what you find out.
Take care!
