After I shaved down there, I itch like crazy. I don't shave on the inside, but on the outside of my vagina where the hair grows and around my bikini line. Is there a cream I could get to use for the itching? I haven't shaved for a while since the hair grew back, but I want to. I just don't want to itch. I know this probably isn't a health issue but I'm hoping to get some help.

Are you using enough shave gel? It could be razor burn. I had the Laser Hair removal which, while not all of my hair is gone, was some of the best money I have spent on myself.
Hair can cause you to itch as it grows back in. Just make sure that you are using enough shave gel. But, that raises the question, do you perhaps have an aversion to the shaving product you are using right now? Maybe you need to get a different brand and see if that was the culprit. Get a brand, if you don't already have one, with a strong moisturizer and perhaps something with Aloe in it to soothe the skin.
Take care and keep in touch!

I have been shaving that area bald every day for over 15 years. Never once used gel or shaving cream. What ever soap I wash with is what I use for shaving along with my Mach III razor
That area is not exposed to harsh elements like our legs or underarms (tank tops, sleeveless shirts)
Once that skin down there toughens up it will not give you to much problems. The first couple of months was a bit annoying I'd itch. So now I shave every night everywhere. What ever you do do not apply lotion that contains alcohol it will burn. You can try the gels and shaving cream. It would not hurt. Waxing is a way to go too.

I always had that problem too. I don't anymore cause I bought one of those little "Finishing Touch" razors from Walmart. It is battery operated and does a great job. Try that. Then you shouldn't have that problem anymore.

I have that problem too no matter if I wax or shave. I dont know why it itches so bad when it gets up through a particular layer of skin when its growing back but its irritating as heck! I have not yet found a solution for it yet but next time I wax here soo Im going to be applying tendskin (actually the homemade version) to it after I wax and if it still itches ill apply it then again too and see it it help. It has apirin, alcohol and witchhazel. Ive actually herb of doing an aspirin scrub (dissolved aspirin mixed in honey) to the area you wax or shave is supposed to help.
I know exactly how irritating it is! I try so hard not to start because once I itch it it gets worse and I cant stop!!

do you think a depillatory cream would give you good enough results? i use one all over that area and so far haven't had any itching or bumps. i can't recommend one because i haven't found a favorite yet (i read great things about magic shaving powder but for me it was impossible to mix w/ water...). if bumps are also a concern, PFB vanish helped me and it does not burn after waxing - although, oddly, it did somewhat burn after depillatory cream but maybe only because i had left the depillatory itself on too long ...if you do use a depillatory, just the first time i suggest leaving it on only a few minutes even if it doesn't give you results, then try a little longer each time until you find what gets you the smoothest and does not irritate you :)
