You can still get STD's even with a condom on. If the fluids from your infected partner got on your genitals then you can catch it. Body fluids, sperm, blood, vaginal fluids, if there are sores in their mouth and performed oral or if you kissed them all can lead to and STD being transmitted.
STD's like gonorrhea can grow in the mouth, throat, eyes, penis, testicles and anus. If you touched her infected area and rubbed any of those parts on you then you can get it.
It causes things like burning when you pee, having to pee alot, or an odd discharge from your penis.
There's Syphilis and Chlamydia that have similar symptoms as gonorrhea.

YOu need to not wait a week to go to the doctor. If it is herpes, the quicker you treat it, the less extreme the future outbreaks will be. Not to mention you
will relieve the pain sooner no matter what it is. It sucks, but you need to know what is going on down there. Sounds to me like herpes and it won't be the end of the world. sorry.
