I recently had a frenuloplasty operation to relieve a tight frenulum. The operation was partially successful in that it relieved some of thightess but not all of it.

Has anyone experienced a 'failed' frenuloplasty operation?

Is it possible to undergo the surgery a second time? Has anyone had this done?

Has anyone relieved a tight frenulum in other ways?

how's the pain and whats the recovery time on a frenuloplasty?

In the UK:

In and out within 6 hours.

General anaesthetic.

No pain afterwards, unless bumped or knocked. Didn't even need pain killers.

Slight bleeding from wound for a week.

Wound healed after 2 weeks, back to normal after 4 weeks.
