Hi,

I have a kind of blocking sensation in my left ear from past 4-5 years. Initially, I thought that it 'll go by time and didn't cared much about it, my mistake. Any ways, things got worsed recently and started getting pain in the ear, also i can hear some buzzing sound in the ear. After consulting the physisian its been diagnosed as "glue ear" problem and that needs to be cured through some small surgery, to be frank I'm averse to the idea of surgery. After googling on net I came to know about this disease that is very common amongst the children but couldn't find much of it occurence in adult.

As I don't want to go with surgery, please suggest some therapy or herbal treament that can done by your own to cure this disease.

Thanks,
Kunal

Yes, you are correct, it is indeed most common with children rather than adults. Sometimes the ear cannel does not keep pace in growth with the rest of the child's body. The operation involves fitting grommets into the ear, expanding the cannel, so that drainage is kept open. The improvement in the child's hearing is usally immediate to the extent that, after the op, everything sounds undully loud to them. The operation is not all that involved and, if this is what the medical people are going to do for you, you have nothing to worry about.
