Hello ladies! I am new here. I am hoping someone can give me some advice.

My cycle is very regular. I get my period every 25-27 days. Mostly it comes in 25, sometimes 26, and occasionally 27. Anyway, this month it's not here! Of course I was excited because my husband and I were ttc. We aren't charting/temperatue or anything like some of you ladies do though.

Ok so I technically should have gotten my period on Monday being the 27th day. I took a hpt Wednesday afternoon and it came back negative. I thought maybe it wasn't accurate b/c it was not FMU, and I drank a whole bottle of water before I took the test. I read after, you shouldn't do that cuz it dilutes the urine.

So I tested again first thing Thursday morning-negative. I went to Planned Parenthood later on in the day to take one of their tests-negative again. They told me to wait another week or 2 and if I still haven't gotten my period, to test again-it could be too early to tell right now. If it's still negative. they recommend I make an appointment.

I am not stressed at all. No changes in my life. No change in diet/exercise. I don't get it. What do you all think? Should I be worried? Do you think it's possible I am in fact pregnant?

Thanks ladies!

Hi Ally,
I'm fairly new here too. I really don't know what to say about your situation. But I do know that sometimes, for no apparent reason, we skip a month from having AF. It has only happened to me once in my life and I was on BCPs at the time. I wasn't prego, just skipped a month.

When I first started "lurking" on here, I didn't see the need to temp and chart. I went off BCPs at the end of March and we tried to "avoid" getting a BFP the first month. So really we've only been TTC for 2 cycles I guess (May and June). I started charting last month right after AF arrived. I have a friend that tried for a year and a half to get a BFP and ended up taking fertility drugs. She told me that as soon as she walked thru the door they asked if she had been charting. They wanted 3 months of charts before they would help her. So I decided to chart because of that. I figured (God forbid) if I ever have to get assistance I'll need all that info instead of having a 3 month delay in getting the help we need. As I said I have charted for one month now and I'm finding it very interesting. I look forward to taking my temp every morning. I saw the spike in my temps so I knew I ovulated. And yesterday when I woke up I took my temp and it was 97.72. It had been in the 98's for a few weeks. I knew from the drop in temp that I was not prego. I had AF. I am really finding all this to be very interesting. I hope you have the chance to do it also......that is if you don't already have a BFP! Good luck to you!:)

Hi
I just wanted to let you know that the exactsame thing happened to me,me and DB starting ttc in March periods were fine until two months later they suddenly stopped!! I like you did test after test but all BFN.I was stumped, the docs kept saying " your stressed" which was untrue,i hadnt changed my diet, exercise or anyhting and i wasnt stressed. My DB took me away for a weekend for my birthday and guess what? the day i came back AF showed admitely she was late.I didnt think i was stressed, but i think i was thinking so much about TTC i actually prolonged AF.So maybe focus on something else for a while just to get your cycle back on track? so let me know how you get on xx

Hey ladies, thanks for responding!

Well, AF is officially one week late now. I tested again today and got a BFN:(

I am worried at this point that there might be something wrong.

Last month when I had AF it was really painful, unlike my usual ones. And now I dont have it at all! ahhhh!!! I dont know what to think. *sigh*
