The Zoloft I just started this morning is making me zoomy and strung out feeling. Tense muscles, hands shaking, and clenching teeth ALL day. I have PRN Ativan, I'm debating taking one, even though the reason I have it is to calm me down. I think if I don't take one, I'll be up all night.

She just prescribed both yesterday. I also take lamictal and wellbutrin. The ativan is as need no more than 3 times/day.

Whenever I feel I need it no more than 3times/day.If I took it,say 8am,1pm, and 7pm that would be it for the day.

Hi,
Just from my experience, sounds like you may be experiencing the early side effects of the SSRI.. I went through these.
The Ativan might help a whole lot, don't be afraid to try it. it's just not worth it to suffer more than we already do...and the side effects of the Zoloft should pass in a couple of weeks.

yep zoloft can do that in the beginning..im sure an ativan will help.

Thank you seaturtle, I actually did take tha ativan, and I still woke up about every hour. I was still clenching my teeth all night, which I;ve always done anyway, so this makes it 100 times worse. Thank you for the input and I really hope these feelings go away.
