I have a neuroma on my left foot between my 2nd and third toes. I also have a bunion on that foot. I have had 1 cortisone shot and 4 alcohol shots for the neuroma. This hasn't stopped the pain. Now my podiatrist is talking about surgery on both at the same time. Has anyone out there had these surgeries together. I sure could use some info.

Yes, I am having surgery for the same thing on July 11. I go in for my pre-op on the 3rd and will give you more information. Otherwise, check on some previous post on this board and you can learn allot, such as the procedure, recovery time, etc... I do know that you MUST stay off that foot after surgery and have the foot elevated and follow Dr.'s orders completely.
