is it ok if i lift everyday? like...i just got a 20lb dumbell, and i do about 3 sets of 8 on each arm everyday to failure. is it ok if i do this everyday? i also try to do cardio like jumprope, to lose the fat around my arms and stuff.

No, it is definitely not OK. You are overtraining your muscles and they will not grow. You must give your muscles a chance to repair and grow by allowing at least 48 hours between lifting. If you were to train a different muscle group the next day then it may be OK to lift on consecutive days but not if you were going to be training the same muscle group.

one more question...can i do my triceps then while im waiting in the 48 hour period? cause the lifts were just for my biceps.
