I am so sick of these problems as currently i can not sleep so i decided to make an post about this. I usally never had this problem but now when iam trying to sleep i get this pulsing feeling. Threw out my body and feels like the bed is going up and down underneath me very wierd feeling. As I am trying to go to sleep it seems i get this flash of darkness in my eyes and it makes noises like if some one throw a sheet over your head.
Any one know what this is???

Wow, scary. I don't think that it's exploding head syndrome - and, yes, it's really called that - EHS is usually a very short event - a few seconds tops - and is over. I would, of course, see a doctor. But, I would check out a few other boards... maybe try the back boards - perhaps you're sleeping on a nerve funny, especially if you put pressure on the spot where your skull and neck meet. Do you always sleep on your back? I'm guessing. Just putting out some ideas.
Let us know what happens!
Good Luck
