Recently had sex with a woman, and I DID use a condom. The condom did not break, and I showered immediately after. The next day I noticed some urinary tract irritation that has persisted for abou four days.....

If the condom did not break, and I removed it just prior to entereing the shower, there seems to be no way that I could have contracted an STD that would cause these symptoms, so could it just be irritation caused by the condom or lubricant it contained?

Some STD's like gonorrhea, chlamydia are caught through fluids. So if your shaft is cover but your testicles are not and fluids from an infected partner gets on them you can catch it. Chhlamydia can cause a burning sensation when you pee or an abnormal discharge, itching or burning feeling around the penis. The same signs applies to gonorrhea but with gonorrhea you get painful or swollen testicles too.

I looked up condom irritation and read that it can happen. An itchy, red swollen feeling on the genitals can happen from the latex or if you are allergic to the ones that have a spermicide in them.

The only way to be sure is to see your doctor.
