First of all my laparoscopy is scheduled for the second week of july. For those of you who missed my other post I'm having an exploratory laparoscopy due to left sided pelvic pain of unknown origin and nausea. I've had a normal
Ultrasound and normal CAT scan within the past week.

Ok now to today's problems. Everything was going along status quo with the pain and nausea until today when I suddenly developed horrible diarrhea. Finally around 1pm I took some Immodium and it calmed down some. The only thing I've taken in different than the very bland diet I've been eating was a can of slim fast optima which I thought would help me get some nutrients into my system. Is it possible that the slim fast caused the diarrhea?

Also I was due to start my period today. Instead of starting to bleed like I always do (I'm like clockwork) I have been passing big clots of tissue all day but no blood on the pad. Anyone have any thoughts on what may be going on?
