I was on antibiotics about 3 weeks ago and during that time I noticed my vagina had started to become itchy. I didn't think much of it at first, but recently it's become a bit worse. It itches at times on both the outside and inside. There is a white discharge, but not an overwheming amount. I have no pain during sex and there is no smell, though last weekend my boyfriend noticed my vagina looked a litte irritated. I bought a 3 day course of miconazole, but I'm on the second day and it doesn't seem to be helping. What could this be??? Thanks for your help

Sadly antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I took some for my swollen lymph nodes and had a slight yeast infection. Not enough to run to the doctor so I was eating yogurt like crazy and took large anounts of acidophilus. Gone now.
Though I was given a month of antibiotics cause my nodes did not go down so I might get another.
It sounds like a yeast infection. If it does not get better you may try calling your doctor and see if he/she will call in a script for you.
