Hello ...
about five months ago I had a very large baby for my size... he was 10 lbs 9oz... had a c-section and had my tubes tied...I have my regular period but I keep on spotting about 2 or three days in between my periods...
The discharge doesn't have a weird smell but it comes out very dark brown or almost black.. it makes me feel very bloated and i just don't know if I should worry about this or not
I have been having horrible headaches and I feel very tired and it is very hard for me to fall asleep... don't know if these symptoms are connected or not...
Please Help

Your situation sounds similiar to mine. I had a c-section almost 3 years ago and my tubes tied during that time. I had regular periods, the only difference is that my period doesn't end until 10 days later. Normally it would end a 7 days, but now I spot 3 days after and sometimes it is very dark as well. I have told my GYN about this a few times and she thought it was an infection due to me having a uterine fibriod and also during my exams, it is always tender when she exams me..but after several tries with presription drugs, she is now suggesting that I get a D&C to scrap maybe left over something from the pregnancy. I don't know! I'm waiting for them to schedule the D&C. Ofcourse I am worried, but I often wonder if having my tubes tied could be causing this extra spotting, but then again I read that fibriods can cause heaving and prolong bleeding as well. Well, sorry I can't help much but I would like to keep in touch and keep you posted on my condition as well as to hear what your outcome will be. Good luck!

i HAD A D&C ONCE... I HAD A MISCARRIAGE BEFORE I HAD MY SECOND BABY.. AND THEY DIDN'T TAKE EVERYTHING OUT SO AFTER THE D&C... WHERE YOU ARE COMPLETELY KNOCKED OUT... THEY HAD TO GO BACK IN THERE WITH LIKE A LITTLE VACCUM (NOT REALLY SURE WHAT IT WAS CALLED) AND THEN SUCKED WHAT WAS LEFT AFTER IT WHILE I WAS AWAKE.... :eek:
IT WAS SO PAINFULL... SO BE CAREFULL AND IF YOU CONTINUE TO SEE DARK STUFF COMING OUT AFTER THE D&C YOU NEED TO GO BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...
