Hi.
I've posted quite a few posts, and have received many answers from here, as well as made many new friends.
I've accepted my disease, am trying to remain positive, as it's got a high-cure rate, although, at the moment I'm experiencing a bit of a set-back...
I pray I can get back on track, soon--hopefully.
Through this forum, and also from some research, I'm not convinced about adding "radiation" to the mix. (I'm doing 8 rounds of chemo...followed by 20 radiation "targets"). My Oncologist is an advocate of it, and has had good success rates, thus far, with his patients.
I have a friend on here (Ails) whom, I know did not receive radiation, and is doing fine after 2 years. I think she received more rounds of chemo than they have planned for me.
Any thoughts from anyone, I'd appreciate. This is the last "piece of my puzzle" to put forth a plan. Perhaps, I should get a 2nd opinion.
Thanks. I SO appreciate it.
S.
