well i have a UTI, about 2 days leading up to the UTI my lower waist down to my legs hurt so bad maybe that was my body telling me i was gonna get this infection. well i've been on antibiotics since monday, still have a slight burning even without peeing, is that the UTI? also, some lower pains and a little achy, should i be worried i dont feel very well tonight, i dont have flu symptoms, just achy, hot, and a little sickish i guess. how long does it take for UTIs to clear?

Depends on how bad the infection was. The pain for me would stop around the 5 day but I and usually given antibiotics 7-10 days. The antibiotics make me feel sick like I have the flu they make my body ache and give me a slight dull ache in my head. Most of the antibiotics you are suppose to limit your sun exposure while on them. However, I can't so that. I'm in the sun alot. So of course all the side effects are increased by the sun.

i have a history with yeast infections, had BV once. i seem to almost always feel a slight burning sensation right outside of the hold of my vagina when having sex. well, last week i woke up with HORIBLE pain when peeing and burning i went to my ob/gyn, (i basically live there), i had a UTI, put on antibiotics, seems to help get rid of the burning. well, i am worried the antibiotics may have caused me to get yeast infection, when i went last to ob/gyn i had no infection just the UTI though. the reason i say i am worried i have a yeast infection is because i have this weird sensation in my clitoris almost like its sexually stimulated...VERY annoying! been goin on awhile now 4 days or so, this is not my first time dealing with this, i think its yeast but not sure... also some slight burning with sex. .is that my UTI, could i still have the UTI or is it yeast. i have a prescription for 3 refills for this pill that relieves yeast, should i take it? i'm sick of ob/gyn visits. has anyone experienced this? i am considering just taking this yeast pill and see if it helps me out, i am goin crazy with this sensation on my clitoris, i need help, no one will answer my questions i am hoping i can get some help or someone who knows what the cause is. i dont have to go back to my ob/gyn until next month and i dont want to go back up there i was just there for the UTI.

It sounds like it could be a yeast infection. Only the dr could say for sure. Antiboitics can and do cause yeast infections. Yeast causes that burning feeling with sex, and it can be external, not internal so there would be no discharge. If you really don't want to go to the gyno try the pill you have and give it a few days to work- if it doesn't get to the doctor. Good luck.

thanks i'm seeing my ob/gyn tomorrow, i just want to figure this out and hopefully i wont need to go back for awhile they are probably sick of me lol thanks
