Hello,

I am only 23 and have had some serious health issues over the last year, I had my tonsils removed Tuesday and my ENT did a biopsy on my lymphnode as well while I was out. I have had liver problems and bile duct problems for almost a year now and since no one has been able to diagnose me I was referred to an ENT who saw my enlarged lymphnodes and tonsils and decided to see if it was affecting the rest of me. They were huge by the way tonsillectomies not too much fun, it hasn't been horrible but yuck. I am waiting to hear back about my lymphnodes but I don't know if they're going to be able to tell me anything. Its easy to be pessimistic after waiting for a year to find out whats going on with little luck. I have a lot of the symptoms and I am worried, I had been smoking for about 2 years and quit Tuesday since they were taking out my tonsils and I figured it'd hurt too bad to smoke, I haven't smoked for 2 days that's pretty good I think. Anyways does anyone have any idea whether the liver and lymphnodes are connected? Has anyone had a problem with elevated enzymes in their liver and found out it was a virus or something that had nothing to do with their liver but was affecting it? Also is lymphoma treatable? It sounds scary I don't really know what it is just that its a type of cancer and it is found in the lymphs. Any help would be appreciated.

hi--
I had extremely high liver counts (in the 1000,s) a few years ago and was feeling really sick as well. Had every test under the sun and it turned out to be mono. Don't freak out or worry, no matter what it is, there are tons of people on here to support you. Do keep us posted. :)
