Hello everyone.

I come here in hopes that someone might be able to point me in the right direction for the symptons I am experiencing.

As a briefer, I am 20 years old and very athletic. These symptons began many years ago, but only in the last year have they really affected me to the point where I can no longer enjoy the activities I once did. I play soccer, body build, and do mixed martial arts. However, of the three, only the mixed martials arts I am able to do anymore and that only with care. Without further ado, I will explain the symptons I am having.

1) The following occurs when I do difficult work such as a long sprints (common in soccer), lifting heavy objects (common in bodybuilding such as the bench press), or when I do "exhaustion drills" (common in mixed martial arts such as doing 50 jumping squats or burpees and so on):

1a) Dizziness
1b) Darkened sight (not blacking out, but feels like I am close)
1c) Sickness in the stomach
1d) Extreme weakness (i.e. not being able to do one push-up, a normally easy task for me)
1e) Coldness (even if it is 95 degrees outside, I get the shivers and chills)
1f) Yawning (when I am certainly not tired, like in the middle of a soccer game or sparring match)
1g) Popping ears (worse than even extreme elevation change- I can't hear or monitor my speech volume as I can not tell how loud I am speaking).

I ALWAYS stop when I experience these symptons, which is a 100% chance of happening when I do anything physically extrenous. I wait anywhere between 5 minutes and 45 minutes before I feel okay and get back to work, or retire from my activity.

2) The following occurs when I jump rope (done commonly in mixed martial arts), do jumping jacks (again, MMA), or something like the trampolene--basically anything that involves going up and down really fast.

2a) A clicking in my head
2b) Sickness in the stomach-makes fun things like a trampolene into a nightmare of a time.

These last only while doing the activity, but when the preceding the activities in #1, seems to on-set the symptons quicker. Thus if I start by doing jumping jacks then go into squats, I will experience the #1 symptons quicker and longer than if I just started with squats.

3) Following occurs all the time when I am aware.

3a) A mild dizzyness which does not impede anything, but serves as a constant reminder that something is not quite right.

OKAY!

Now thats all done, so far I have seen a general doctor and ENT, both of which did not help. The general doctor did mention Absense Seizures (petit mal). Then today I went to a neurologist and he suggested three possible sources:

1) Absense Seizures
2) Myotonic Dystrophy
3) Marfan Syndrome

Marfan's was almost ruled out right away, because while I am tall and thin, I have good body muscle and proportioned fingers/toes and great eye sight and good posture and no sternum deformities...basically not enough reason to believe I have Marfan's. It was just a suggestion he had made, because some features seem to be present (long narrow face, high roof of mouth).

Absense seizures sounded good until I read on webmd that people who suffer "space out" for 15-30 seconds. I do not do this, I never lose conscienceness (even if I fell I am about to).

Myotonic Dystrophy- I am not sure what to make of this.

OKAY, again!

In MY, non-medically trained opinion, I feel like I am not getting enough oxygen to the brain. However, I have a MRI and EEG coming up, as well as blood work, ect.

If anyone can help me out with my situation, please do. I really am desperate to fix me and get back to the activities that I enjoy. It is really depressing my life to live like this.

Thank you!

Inner Ear disorders were those ruled out by the ENT? I get foggy headed when I exercise, but don't have the black out vision. Is that like tunnel vision? I also get the stomach ache, but I believe this comes from me worrying about the rate of my heart attack...it sounds crazy but I think that after a while of that knowing is happening to our healths we start to become paranoid. Do your symptoms happened any other times? I don't want to alarm you but what about heart troubles... I can't remember the specific name of a condition that occurs in people that do streneous exercise...please look for it. I will try to remember what it was that I had read... I
