For the past two weeks I have been having an unusual vaginal discharge. It is brown sticky stuff. I would think that it has something to do with my period but im not due to start for at least another week and this has been going on for almost two weeks like I said earlier.
I would go to the doctor but when I asked about the price to see the doctor, I cant afford to go right now. I would feel much better being able to see one but price prevents me from being able to.
Please, if anyone knows anything about this I would be grateful to hear. It scares me a little. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before.

First, are you on birth control? If you are, the brown discharge may be breakthrough bleeding. It is a very common side effect of hormonal birth control; it can happen when you take the pill irregularly, are on antibiotics, or even for no reason at all even when you take the pill perfectly. If you're on birth control, I'd assume it's breakthrough bleeding. If that's the case, it's annoying, but not harmful or anything to worry about.
If you're not on birth control, you may want to see the doctor. It could be an imbalance with your hormones. I doubt it is something scary and serious, but it's probably best to get it checked out. If need be, you can wait until you get your period this cycle and see if it happens again next cycle. Every so often, women just sometimes have freaky cycles. If it happens again, I'd definitely see the doc.
