I have brown asian skin, and I have bad hyperpigmentation on my back and shoulders thanks to acne and eczema.
For all those with brown skin - what do you do to reduce the appearance?

Hyperpigmentation is really difficult to get rid of!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am pretty fair, but I have begun using Obagi products, which are made for every color of skin. It supposedly helps reduce or eliminate dark spots on your skin. It is epxpensive, but you could try it. The only other thing I think works is to go the dermatology route......lasers, peels, etc.
I have just started, so I cannot comment on Obagi's effectiveness. I think it takes several weeks (6-8) to see results.
