I need help my eyes have been wet and leaky mucous for a long time .I have been to several doctors and they siad allergy then I went to an allergist who took a lot of tests. I have allergies some are also to food which I now totally aviod and I am on medication but its no help. I am 58 years old and my vision isn't what it used to be. I am a plus 250 in glasses and a plus 400 in contacts. I haven't been able to wear contacts for a long long time. Ocassionaly when its a dark room or getting dark outside I see a black spot in the middle of my field of vision. someone told me that this could be macular degeneration. The wet kind which is the worst kind. does anyone out there have any imput on this? should I be concerned? will this goo continue to leak from my eyes? its like white stringy stuff. Does anyone know what the symptoms of macular degeneration are? also when someone is more than 20 feet away from me I can see there body but the face is a big blur. Is this normal? Hopefully someone will answer. thank you
