"High Blood pressure Cause or Effect?"]

I'm new to posting on the BP boards and a little confused. What kind of anti-inflammatories are you guys talking about? I have been trying to cut back on taking ibuprofin in spite of the fact it is the only thing that helps the pain caused by a ruptured disc in my lower back because of my elevated BP. Have been on a med for BP (hydrocholorat?) for a couple of weeks now and nothing is happening. If anyone has any NATURAL cures (other than garlic) that you really think helps, please let me know.

Re actual supplements, the lost is long, but here are the biggies: Omega 3 (fish oil, flaxseed, evening primrose oil, borage oil, black current oil); vitamin C (critical); turmeric (very strong anti-inflammatory, and Weil recommends certain types); alpha-lipoic acid.

Exercise: VERY important for reducing artery inflammation.

And yes, aspirin!
