When I wake up in the morning, my eyes are very blurry. So blurry I cant read even if I wear my reading glasses that the eye doc recently gave me. I told him about it but he didnt find anything wrong. Does anybody know of reasons for blurry eyes. It happens a lot not only during allergy season.

What could it be. I don't have pain.

My eyes are blurry every morning because of dry eyes, and when they are closed all night they dry out. You can put non-preservative eydrops in your eyes [not Visine] in the morning and see if that helps. You are use Refresh Tears brand. I just had Lasik surgery since my eyes are dry so wearing ocntacts is very difficult. Good luck.

Have you been tested for dry-eye disease? The
test for Sjogren's Syndrome is a blood test and you should look for a rheumatologist or
very competent eye Dr. In the mornings I find hot packs help..wring out a facecloth in REALLY HOT WATER and place on eyes. Use
eye drops that have no preservatives and get
something like Lacri-Lube ointment to put in your eyes at night.During day blurriness can
be caused by copious amounts of mucus and the hot packs help me then too...as does
washing my eyes with diluted baby shampoo!
