I luv wearing perfume and i luv to collect them as well.Just recently i added Chanel's New Chance ( green) and now im thinkin if i should buy Paris Hilton's Perfumes !!! I know its Paris Hilton product but i wanna ask everybody here if they have her perfume.Does it smell nice and which one ??

My roommate really likes the Paris Hilton perfumes. I actually really like Britney Spears' perfumes a lot. I have all of them except for her Midnight Fantasy and they smell great! I get a lot of compliments from the Curious In Control. Some other good perfumes to me are Escada Sunset Heat, Vera Wang Princess, Betsey Johnson's perfume, Ralph Lauren Hot, and Pink Beach from Victorias Secret. I usually like sweet smelling perfumes or tropical summery ones. Anything too floral or strong gives me a headache, so I have to try away from those kinds!

What you probably don't know is that it is absolutely useless to ask for advice on perfumes and ask people which on they like.
The fact is, and you can ask anyone knowledgable in this field, that every perfume will smell differently on every individual. That is a fact. The oils in perfume react with your own body chemistry to produce your own individual scent. So, even if you wear the same perfume as your friend, it will smell differently on you than on her. It will also smell differently in the bottle than on a person. And it will even smell differently on you depending on what time of the month it is for you.
That's why it is imperative to try a perfume on yourself before buying it. And it is also a reason why I never buy perfume as a gift.

Well Rita, i know that every perfume smells different on every person. I just want to know what perfumes are popular lately. It doesnt matter if this question sounds useless ,esp. to you. Every members here have the right to ask whatever they want to ask or seek for advice esp. with regards to this question.

No need to get defensive or be offended. My comments were not meant to do that. I only wanted to be helpful and offer my advice regarding perfumes. Some people don't know these facts about perfumes and I had no way of knowing whether you were one of them or not, but based on your questions I assumed that you must not know.
I really don't care what perfume is popular at the moment. To me it's like asking what color eyes are popular right now. But, of course, just as you say, every member has a right to seek opinions and ask advice. And every memebr has a right to respond in a nice way to advice offered.

I'm glad you asked this question, I can't wait to go out and test these perfumes! The perfume that is sitting on my dresser right now is by Rimmel London Glam and the smell is called "Coty" it's in a pink glass bottle. Check it out! I love it.

If I were to buy what I wanted I'd buy BS Curious In Control, Vera Wang Princess, DK Cashmere Mist(I think that's what it's called) Lancome's Miracle and Miracle Forever, Channel Chance...I think that's about it...there's a Bulgari scent that I want but I can't ever remember the name...BLV Notte I think is the good one.

Hmmn.. i am really curious now if i have to add BS Curious on my collection. Everybody's been mentioning it. Though a part of me doesnt wanna buy it cuz its my husband's ex wife's perfume...lol...

i LOVE live by j lo!!! i wear it everyday, and the body lotion, smells so good, like a cupcake :D britney spears fantasy is ok, i have that one too kinda has a hint of pepermint to it that turns me off tho, i smelled one of paris's the first one she came out with, i didnt like it...

Love at First Glow by JLo is really nice, fresh smelling, not too strong. The Paris Hilton one (the first one) is actually nice. I wear that one too.

The first perfume is called 'Paris Hilton' . She has a couple of other ones, 'Just me' and Heiress' I've seen for sale. Don't know how they smell though.

At Christmas the stores always have the perfume gift sets. I saw the Paris Hilton perfume set, not sure what the name is , but it is in a hot pink and black striped box. One of the boxes was open so I tried it on. I walked around the store and could not help smelling my arm constantly. I absolutely loved it. My husband went to buy it for me and they were all gone, frown. Finally a few weeks after Christmas they had it back in stock and I bought it for myself. I just love it, it smells so good on me and normally I don't like most perfumes. I also have and love Elizabeth Taylor's Passions, it is very nice and lasts all day.
