Thanks Judy

I just read about Lutein, and also apparently Zinc. I live in the UK so I will check out my local health store for supplies.

Have you read any good books, or changed your diet at all?

All the best

I'm hoping that someone can reassure me about MD: In May '98 my vision was blurred & distorted in my R eye. The retina specialist said this was idiopathic MD of the wet type.
He lasered my retina and it has been fine since, but unfortunately left a gap in my vision which it's a big problem. My question is this: does the idiopathic MD of the wet type always recur? Is it possible that this was an isolated, one-off incident?

I am not sure about it recurring but I do know that from what I hae read is that Wet MD is treatable with surgery/laser and dry MD is not. You should check out MD on the internet and read up on a few sites
