My neice just turned 3. Up until she was about 4 mo old was normal- then boom seizures. My sister has gone too different hospitals out of our small town and for a year the baby was put on meds to control seizures, but she was gone- her eyes black- nothing there. Meds have been changed and seizures vary. NOw at three she doesn't walk or talk, makes oohing noices, fiddles with her hands, doesn't like solid foods. Prefers to be by herself. If we hold her and play with her she'll smile and laugh for a bit but then wants put down.My sister has her on a new program and theyve been coming to the house and gave her a stand up walker to make her stand - on her own she'll stand if propped up by a couch or something. Still no answers to her seaizures , and somethimes I think she is delayed so much by the meds she was on for so long, yet thena gain I think maybe its a form of autism?
What do you guys think?

Hi Snobun,

These are signs of autism but it's possible the meds have caused this developmental delay. Has your niece been evaluated by a pediatric specialist?

My sister has taken her to many doctors, but no clear diagnosis- and many possibles but no clue what or why at this point. Not sure where to go or look for answers to help her out.
