I got Lasik surgery done September 2006.

I've noticed that every since, I cannot focus on anything within 7 inches of my field of vision.

When I try to focus, it makes me feel dizzy and nauseated. I just cannot focus on anything within 7 inches at all!!!

At first I thought it was because my vision was adjusting or fluctuating.

But now, it's almost been a year and I still have that problem.

Does anyone else experience it too?

I had the same problem, i think everybody have this problem after surgery but the specialist told me it was going to stop in few months (herself had the surgery and already had this problem).

I'm sorry you still have this problem but i had my lasik surgery 6 months ago and i cannot even rememeber when the focusing problem stop. Keep hope! I still believe your vision will improve since you had your surgery 9 or 10 months ago.

Just an exemple (i know it's not the same thing but...sometime we think it won't go better but again...) last week i still had problem to sleep without a bottle of tear drops beside my bed, now i've lost it and don't even bother to find it! I stopped to use tear drops only 2 days ago!!!! from a day to another!

If it's not causing you too much problem don't think to much about it. If you wait a little bit maybe the tension you feel will go with time, it's like a muscle i guess that's why it take time. Good luck. Martin.:)
