Hello there,
I am a 27 yr old male and in good health as far as I know. A little over 2 months ago, I became really sick. It was something like a 24hr virus, but it hit hard and from nowhere it seemed. After that, my throat was very sore and it hurt like holy hell to swallow. This went on for over a week. I saw my doctor and he gave me some meds which seemed to do the trick. As soon as I ran out, the sore throat with phlegm came back. I got a refill and although it mad me a bit better, it didn't exectly get rid of it completely. Then I just started taking echinacea to help boost my immune system. So as of now, I feel fine. BUT, I still have phlegm is my throat and it feels like something is kind of lodged there.
While looking in the mirror, I noticed that it looked like one of my tonsils was enlarged. There are no pus bags and it doesnt seem red at all. But it is rather annoying, like something is always stuck in your throat. It does make it difficult to talk at times because if it hits your throat just right, it almost makes you gag. I have also noticed myself wheezing very slightly when I breath due to it.
