:dizzy: :blob_fire Help. I have had dicharge from my left ear for more years than I care to remember. I have gone to many doctors and now one can seem to get this under control.

This started when I was a teenager when we moved from Florida to Minnesota in late Novemeber. I got a horrendous ear ache. At the time we were new there and did not go to a doctor. The earache cleared up on its own and I thought nothing more about it. A year later I got another ear ache then six months later and so on and so on. Finally I started getting a discharge from my ear. At first it was a clear, orderless discharge. Later it was to smell and became more of a yellowish thick discharge. It would drain all the time and it causes my ear lobe to have what looks like ecema. I also now have a small cyst next to my ear. Now it feels like the gland right behind the ear is filled up with pus, also I have noticed that the ear occasionaly has some blood.

I have also been getting vertigo. This only seems to happen right before I get sick, i.e. a cold. It will go on for about a week. It is so bad that it will wake me up from a dead sleep.

I had someone tell me that candeling might help with this. Can anyone help me with this?

I don't what it is but I have a similar problem. I tend to get some kindof clear sticky discharge in my right ear. It turns it a thin crusty, hard to remove type scab on my external ear. I went to an ENT several months ago. I was also having negative pressure in that ear and he prescibed my nasonex and balloons to blow up with my nose. This has helped with the negative pressure but I still have recurrent discharge. He said I had no was and just told me to put cream on my external ear prior to bedtime. I do not think it is dermatitis or anything because my inner ear itches like crazy prior to the discharge. Also the lymph node behind my ear get hard and about the size of pea when this happens.

If anyone can figure it out let me know.

Sherri
