My doctor said that there's no relation between the Advair inhaler (for asthma, in my case) and eczema, but I just did some web surfing on an elimination-of-anything-else-that-could-be-causing-it run, and sure enough, it's possible! Especially at the dose I'm prescribed (500/50) and have been taking since right before my rash broke out. What I found truly bizarre, though, is that the main ingredient in Advair, fluticasone propionate, is being tried (or maybe it's already in place...sorry, can't remember) in a skin cream to CURE eczema.
Sometimes I wish I had a dog who could lick the top of my head where my rash is. Anybody else remember that old cure? If you don't, it's not as disgusting as it sounds.
