I have what I am almost certain has to be jock itch.
Here's my question and accompanying info:
I have been using OTC Lamisil cream for five days and although it seems to be improving my situation slightly, I'm fairly certain that I won't be cured by the seventh day (which the box advises to be the last day to use for jock itch).
Should I continue to apply the Lamisil after the seventh day? If so, for how long. Furthermore, would an antihistimine help with the itching?

If it doesn't work by the seventh day, go to the doctor.

I use a "jock itch" cream daily. It is clotrimzole from a common big box store and is their store brand.
Lamisil was not as effective.
