Hi! My husband and i just found out about 2 months ago that I have PCOS, and I did my fisrt cycle of Clomid and Ovidrel last week. I don't really know anything about infertility, as noone in my family has been though this before. I am looking to make some friends that are going through what I am, because as much as my family and friends mean well, they really can't understand. Looking foward to the support. :)

Hi WannaBea - You are def in the right place for some good support! You are sure to find a lot of info here on IF, but hopefully your stay will be a short one and soon you can move on to the preg board! A sincere welcome to you, and good luck with this cycle. Maybe that clomid will be just what you needed for your first BFP! Keep us posted during your 2WW!

Hi Mama!!
welcome to the board!! Looking for strong supprtive women, you found them!! We are all so tight, I already feel like sister here. Everyone is so understanding a supportive.
I myself "most likely" (my doctor would say if I do or don't have) PCOS. I have not had a period for 6 months and my period has always been VERY irregualr ever since I first got when I was 13 (I'm 21) I have been married to one year, and have been trying ever since I got married. My family didn't understand what I was/am giong through...as nobody in my fmaily has been IF.
Anyway, keep us posted on how your Clomid and Ovidrel go. What does Ovidrel do? Hopefully your stay here will be brief....IF is a hard road, but at least we can walk it together, cherie!!:blob_fire

Thanx! In answer to the question about Ovidrel: The Docotr told me that it makes the ovaries drop. So, I dunno exactly, but I guess it makes them head to the right spot for fertilization. :) I'll let you know the results sometime next week! :)
