Today I had my 7 week post op with the NS. No pain, fusion is coming along great and I have graduated from the Aspen collar to a soft collar, no driving with a collar here. Have to do 4 weeks PT and have full range of motion before driving. I have to wean myself off the aspen for a week then wear the soft collar for 3. (No collar to sleep) :bouncing: :bouncing: My neck muscles are sore, but that is to be expected. I am so happy to have had this done. No more nerve pain .

I'm about 9 weeks post op and got my collar off on June 18. I was thrilled as I was told I would have to wear it for 3 months. I'm not as painfree as you but you are so right about the nerve pain - that is the worst!
