ok I know about how tri-phasic pills causing btb when you use them to skip, but I want to try to see how I do. I have never had BTB ever on any pill so I hope I'll be ok. I was wondering since the largest amount of hormones is in the last week and the weekest in the first week would it be best to try to skip by starting the pack backwards? that way there would be no drastic drop in hormones. My other question is will this make the pill less effective? I'll call the doc tomorrow to see for sure but Im just curious if anyone else has looked into this.

I think you should ask the doctor whether that's a good idea. The problem with taking the pills out of order is that it might really cause it to become ineffective for contraception. And regardless of whether you've never had bTb on any other pill, this is a different story all together. Because all of the girls who have posted here and tried to skip with OTC or OTClo have had btb which lasted longer than most other btb problems. It's very annoying and in my opinion not worth it.
But if you're determined to do it, you really need to check with your doctor to find out how to do it with the least amount of problems, if that is even possible. I wouldn't just do it speculating what may work, because you'll likely be wrong.

yeah I called the doc and she said that I should just take it in order but skip the Placebo week, she said some women can skip with OTC and some cant. I guess I just have to try and see what happens, I need to throw my peroid off a week for my wedding next months so I figure its best just to try and skip this month that way I wont be risking anything during the weddingand this way I'll bump my period up a week so I won't have it during the wedding. I'll let ya know how it goes, maybe I'll get lucky, probably not:rolleyes:

Do you mean after taking the last pack normally, you have now started your second pack (backwards) with no break?
Are you also relying on this as birth control? I think you are taking a huge risk if you are. What are you going to do for the next two weeks when your body should be getting the stronger pills, and you're giving it the weeker ones?

No I just took the second pack normally like my doctor told me to, if you read my second post you'll see that I called my doctor and she told me to skip the placebos and take the next pack normally, this is what I did and I am into the second week now and I still have no spotting
