Hello all! It's been a while since I visited here, but I have been noticing stuff lately going on with myself that just doesn't seem to be clearing up.
All of you tonsillectomy veterans know how your speech is affected after the surgery, simply because your mouth and throat are learning how to talk again. Well, I had my surgery on Feb. 16, and I'm still not able to talk quite right. Specifically, I'm having trouble when I say words that end with L's. I can't quite say it right. People I talk to say they don't notice any problem, but I sure do when I'm trying to say words. Unfortunately, my last name ends in "ls" so I feel really funny every time I say it.
Has anyone else had this problem, or even heard of it happening??
