Hi Girls, Im just wondering how common it is to have a longer luetal phase when on clomid/ ovidrel? This cycle, if im not preg, will be my first real AF as Ive never ovulated then gotten AF. Ive done tons of not ovulating and then taken provera to get AF. Im just wondering why I haven't gotten my period yet and im still testing BFN(10, 12, 14 dpo.) I called the nurse today to go in for b/w prob tomorrow. Im still trying to hold out hope that I may be pregnant, but last time I was getting positives by now- actually they were starting to disappear around now b/c it was a chem preg. but i was testing faint pos at 10dpo last time around.. Anyone gone through this before?

Hi Puppy. I am sorry you are going through a delayed AF and you are getting BFN's. That is very frustrating b/c you just want to get on with another cycle to try again. I am sure that you are not taking any prog. or you would have mentioned it, so that isn't delaying AF. I know that I have had times when I was delayed and I believe one time, I had a large cyst on one of my ovaries. Or, it could just be that you are having a great luteal phase with high prog. levels and it is taking longer to drop off. That is good though b/c when you do get pg. you will have a great prog. level to support it.

Thanks Anna Leigh. Nope no progest. Its always something with IF... I just wish my cycle would straighten out! I mean if im not preg lets just get on with it!! I do feel as Im going to start any second, but ive been feeling like this for a week...brutal!
