10th day already that my throat feels sore, red and swollen. How long does these usually last ? I'm getting worried that something else is wrong......I had viral conjuctivitis then after 2 days with that my throat started feeling like it does now, and its been for 10 days.....HELP !!

You may need to be checked for Strep. One of the viruses that causes conjunctivitis is strep. My husband had pink eye once and I caught it as strep in my throat. So they put us on the same medication.

Good call....Strep was diagnosed tonight by the ER in Boston's Mass Eye & Ear...I'm just worried that it was diagnosed 10 days after I had the symptoms...Oh well....here comes the Augmentin for 10 days
