i just woke up with pain again. and i am hot. i peed but no stone in there.
the pain is not as severe as day one, but worse than yesterday. is this normal for the pain to come back?

You say you are hot. Fever hot? Take your temp and if elevated call your doc ASAP you may have an infection.
