I'm hoping someone has a better remedy than I've been trying. I'm having problems with stuff on my tongue. I brush my teeth and my tongue on a daily basis...I have one of those long straight things that bends to clean your tongue...I also have a razor looking tongue cleaner...they both work but I can't get it back far enough before I start to gag and vomit. I'm having a problem with getting what I feel is layers of whatever that feels like its growing on my tongue and I can't get it off. Does anyone have a better solution on how I can get this crud off my tongue? It's really bothering me and it feels like its growing. I had my Dr. look at it once and she gave me a script that I had to swoosh around my mouth but it really didn't work well. Again the razor like thing I have works but not back far enough and I can't get my tongue out straight before I gag...please I need help bad. Thank You for any advice you might have:dizzy:

Sounds like a buildup of bacteria - maybe you should try resolving it internally through your diet such as trying a probiotic like acidophilus or eating yogurt with active cultures. Also - have you had your thyroid and other endocrin glands checked - sometimes certain medical conditions can casue it as well.

Try rinising your mouth with Listerine and what does the dentist say about this problem ?? When you brush and floss rinise with the Listerine and see if that helps .
